Two bedrooms, a deck for breakfast and the harbour at the end of the street in Gerringong.
saltbush2026Hello and welcome! We're Sam and Priya, and we're so glad you've chosen our little cottage. Put the kettle on, open the deck doors and make yourselves at home. If anything at all is unclear, message us any time: we're usually quick to reply.
Arrival and getting in
Self check-in from 3 pm. You don't need to meet anyone.

- Lift the handle firmly before turning the key
- Parking
- One spot in the carport; free street parking out the front
- Please put the key back in the lockbox when you head out; there is only one set.
- The hallway light switch is behind the door on your right.
WiFi and TV
NBN WiFi reaches the whole cottage and the deck.

- If the WiFi drops, the modem is in the hall cupboard: switch it off, count to 20, switch it on.
House rules
Just a few things so the cottage stays lovely for you and the next guests.
- No smoking or vaping inside. The deck is fine; butts in the tin, please.
- Quiet after 10 pm. The neighbours are close and early risers.
- Shoes off inside, please; sand stays at the door.
- Maximum 4 guests, no parties or events.
- There is a camera at the front door only, none inside.
Kitchen and appliances
Everything you need for a proper breakfast on the deck is here.

- Induction: touch and hold the power symbol for 2 seconds
- Coffee
- Nespresso machine; pods in the top drawer, help yourself
- Dishwasher
- Tablets under the sink; Eco is the quick wash
- Air-con
- Remote in the drawer under the TV; 24°C is plenty
- Hot water takes about a minute to come through in the kitchen.
- The oven beeps when it reaches temperature.
Bins and recycling
Bins live by the side gate.

- If you're staying over a Sunday, please wheel the bins out to the kerb. Thank you!
Our local favourites
Gerringong is best on foot. Everything below is within ten minutes.
- Coffee
- The kiosk by the boat ramp, open from 6:30 am
- Fish and chips
- The takeaway on the main street; eat them on the headland
- Swim
- The patrolled end of the main beach, between the flags
- Walk
- The headland track at sunrise, about 40 minutes return
- Book dinner ahead on summer weekends.
- Dogs are welcome on the beach north of the rock pool.
Check-out checklist
- Check-out is by 10:00 am.
- Load and start the dishwasher.
- Leave used towels in the shower.
- Bag any rubbish and pop it in the red bin.
- Close the windows and turn the air-con off.
- Lock the front door and put the key back in the lockbox.
- Message us to say you've left. Safe travels!
